'Wish You Were Here' takes a minimalist approach as most of the shots include Avril crying, sitting in a bathtubs, and on one occasion setting a flower on fire. And to make the look and feel come across as more authentic, Avril explained on Twitter that her emotions were produced without any stage tricks like onions.Avril seems to be feeling rather miserable about somebody in her video for Wish You Were Here, as she spends all of it moping on the ground. Her newest single and video for “Wish You Were Here” is definitely more serious in tone and in look, but it seems like it’s serious for all the wrong reasons.
