Albert, Adrian or Prince? Would you rather have Pujols, Gonzalez or Fielder?

Albert Pujols, Reggie Jackson and Babe Ruth. After tonight, those are the only three human beings to hit three home runs in a single World Series game. Pujols finished the game with 5 hits in 6 at bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. The Cardinals won 16-7 behind Pujols ridiculous power surge. His playoff performance before tonight? 2 HR and 10 RBI. I guess you could say he’s still got it. Oh, and

the Cards now lead the World Series 2-1.During tonight’s World Series Game 3 (a 16-7 St. Louis victory), Albert Pujols joined those other two guys — whoever they are right? — in hitting 3 home runs in one World Series game (and also tied Paul Molitor with 5 hits in one World Series game). As much as it pains me to say it… congratulations — they were all hammered a country mile — not a cheap one in the bunch.Reporting from Arlington, Texas -- The World Series did more than simply change venues when it moved from frigid St. Louis to the heat of Texas for Game 3. It changed in character as well.

Because after splitting two pitchers' duels in Busch Stadium, the teams traded powerful body blows Saturday, and Albert Pujols landed the most devastating punches of all, homering three times in a 4-hour 4-minute slugfest won by the Cardinals, 16-7.
